On Occasion of Celebration Of 150th Birthday Of Mahatma Gandhi, College of Ayurved Celebrate “Swachhata Pakhwada” from 17th September to 2nd October. During this period, Department of Dravyaguna & N.S.S. unit of Ayurved College organised demonstration & training programme on vermicompost preparation in college herbal garden on 02/10/18 The programme began at 09:30 am. MR Girish Belhekar, owner of “Netra Garden” gave lecture on Vermi-composting process. After the lecture, he demonstrated process of vermin-composting. He showed how to start own pit, how to maintain & haw to harvest the casting when it ready. The mission of the programme was to encourage individuals to compost their organic waste and reduce what goes to the landfill. More than 50 NSS volunteers and Faculties of college attended the programme. Programme concluded at 12:30pm. by vote of thanks proposed by NSS program officer Dr. Ninad B Nangare .
